PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection: Where to Pre-Order

2024 is the year of nostalgia. Sony celebrates three decades of PlayStation with a collection of retro-inspired PlayStation 5 consoles and accessories.

The PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection features a limited-edition gray colorway that pays homage to the first PlayStation console released on December 3, 1994. The PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle went on sale in advance on Thursday (September 30). 26).

The bundle includes a PS5 Pro console with 2TB SSD and Wi-Fi 7 along with a Dual Sense wireless controller, a DualSense charging station with the original PlayStation controller-style cable, a console cover for a disc drive (the drive sold separately), a vertical stand, and collectibles including four PlayStation Shape cable ties, a PlayStation sticker, and a limited-edition PlayStation poster.

The 30th Anniversary Bundle sells for $999.99 on Playstation.com and Walmart while supplies last. Given the high demand, players are restricted to one console per purchase. For those who miss out on getting their hands on the collectible pack, it could end up on resale sites like StockX and eBay.

Other pieces in the collection include a 30th Anniversary Limited Edition PlayStation Portal Remote Player ($219.99) and a DualSense Edge Wireless Controller ($219.99) available in the Legacy Gray colorway.

Sony’s PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection will launch on November 21. Only 12,300 units of the PlayStation 5 Pro console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Pack will be available for purchase and each console will feature a limited edition number engraved on it. The number of units is a nod to the month and date of the first PlayStation launch.

Pre-orders for the Digital Edition 30th Anniversary Bundle begin on October 10. A limited edition PS5 Slim console bundle ($499.99) will also be available at Best Buy.
