Exclusive! Gucci muses attended an after-show party in Milan

Not long after the latest oversized coat walked the runway at Gucci’s Spring 2025 show, Gucci creative director Sabato De Sarno once again gathered all of his muses and show-goers for a post-show party.

It was a quick getaway from the show’s venue, the Milan Triennale (the city’s art and design museum housed in the majestic Parco Sempione) to Horto, a distinctly Milanese restaurant topped by a rooftop terrace offering views of Milan’s Duomo.

There, the party The after-party was on point. Many of the show’s stars showed off their second looks of the night. Debbie Harry swapped her pencil skirt and leather jacket for a track jacket embellished with a Formula 1 touch. Daisy Edgar-Jones appeared in oversized jeans after showing off her looks in white, semi-sheer microfibre shorts; Dakota Johnson had also changed into something more comfortable: a pair of jeans and a sleek black leather jacket.

If De Sarno’s newly released collection was inspired by Jackie Kennedy’s “casual grandeur,” that was also the vibe that her party-goers adopted. The Gucci girls seemed to have ditched their stylist-approved outfits for something less “put together” — what could be more glamorous than effortless?

As Sabrina Carpenter’s “Freedom” and The Strokes songs played on speakers steered by DJ Alix Brown, Dakota Johnson and Gabriette got along well. Actresses Julia Garner and Nicola Coughlan hung out at a table with Jessica Chastain. Solange popped in and posed for photos with Harry and De Sarno. Meanwhile, dishes from Horto’s chef Niederkofler, who adheres to “one-hour ingredients” (everything is sourced hyper-locally), were passed from hand to hand. Jannik Sinner admired the Michelin-starred cuisine and spent most of the evening chatting with the chefs.

The party started to get interesting when De Sarno started taking photos with guests. She had a lot to celebrate. The night marked almost a year since her first Gucci collection debuted and, of course, From Vogue Luke Leitch, with his spring 2025 collection, “De Sarno has found a new following.” Cheers to that!
