Officiating football games is an imperfect science, but it appears the officials for Sunday night’s game between the Chiefs and Falcons aren’t even trying very hard to achieve perfection.

As the Chiefs defense looked to put the game away following a touchdown pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes, superstar defensive tackle Chris Jones was quickly able to disrupt Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins ​​for what would have been a third-down stop.

Unfortunately, Jones was called for roughing the passer, which resulted in Cousins ​​charging down the field for a touchdown. The decision was questioned by many fans on Twitter, including NFL analyst Warren Sharp.
